The ocean is very big and very old, and we are all a part of the ocean story. Water from the ocean turns into clouds, and then those clouds send raindrops down to us all over the world. The ocean is full of many strange and beautiful creatures who make it their home. But sometimes bad things happen to the ocean like oil spills, pollution, and extinction. The ocean plays a very important role in our lives, and we need to make sure that we always take care of it. The lyrical text and beautiful illustrations introduce ocean life to young readers. (Ages 4-8)
