Nice Shot, Cupid! (Myth-O-Mania)
By Kate McMullan
Review By Christina Lewis

Cupid is well-known for shooting his arrows and making people and gods fall in love at will. This story is told from Hades' point of view about the love story between Cupid and Psyche. The original legend appears to have it all wrong, since Cupid wasn't a handsome Greek deity but an insecure, awkward teen god with pimples, braces, and greasy hair. He was also a momma's boy. If you think you can believe Hades, King of the Underworld, about what really happened between these two lovebirds, then read on! A fun take on a mythical legend. (Ages 9-12)
