When Rebecca witnesses a fellow classmate being kidnapped, she follows the van to try and get the license plate. When the van stops at a building they take the boy inside and suddenly Rebecca sees him vanish. She can't believe what she's seen, so she goes inside and finds herself transported to the future, the year 2050. Rebecca learns that this world was created because of a nuclear attack that happened in 2030. Now Rebecca is determined to get back home and alter the course of history, but will the results be what Rebecca wants, or something terrible? A fun, fast-paced science fiction story. (Ages 9-12)
