Submission Form

All kids 17 years of age and younger are welcome to send in their original poems to be published on our site. All entries should be written in English with correct spelling and grammar. The poem (maximum 200 words) must be original. Entries that contain bad language, sex, violence, or death will not be accepted. Submissions in all caps will not be accepted. The form must be filled out completely for poems to be accepted.

Poems submitted are for posting on KidsBookshelf only. Submissions that follow our guidelines will be posted the first week of the following month. For example, poems submitted in October will be posted the first week of November. KidsBookshelf will not be able to offer critiques or feedback on any submissions.

You must have parental permission before submitting a poem.

We are no longer able to accept submissions via postal mail, please use the online form below. Mailed submissions will not be posted or returned.
